Can I play VHS video on my computer?

I have vivo, will it work with VHS? or do I need a digital camera? If it's posible, how do I get it to play? I hooked it up, but nothing happens.
 
Video In/Video Out

It should work fine. Hook the VCR up to your video card and soundcard and use the software that comes with your video card to view the video on your monitor.
 
Yes you will be able to use your vivo card to watch vhs movies, and also play console games if you want too. Just hook it up as the guy said using the software for the video in and use the input for sound on your soundcard.
