Can I play Dual Layered DVDs (DVD-9) on the SCPH30001-R US PS2???? cause Ive read on a certain DVD forum site that the PS2 US version is having difficulties reading a Dual layered DVD movie they say sometimes it plays smooth sometimes it doesnt, and so they concluded that playing a Dual layered DVD (DVD-9) on the PS2 is a GAMBLE, but they said that it can play Dual layered DVDs but it will leave you frustrated due to the reason that sometimes it doesnt read and sometimes it does, anyone tried or anyone using their PS2 to read Dual layered DVDs???? need your advice, or is there any software upgrades whatsoever?

BTW is it also true that having your PS2 read Dual Layer will damage the PS2 units lens?????
