can I play COD2 at decent rates w/ this?

I just got a new computer: x2 3800, 2GB Corsair VS, Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9, and an ATI RADEON X700 PRO 256MB. I went with a lower range video card because the system isn't really primarily for gaming. I play some games but nothing that would be really taxing on the vid card. I played COD2 at a friends a few days ago and now i was thinking about buying it for my new computer but I was wondering if i would be able to run it at decent playable quality. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

It should run all settings on DX7 at 1024x768 very well(I have a 6600GT run on those settings and get 60-110).

The game will seem totally different graphic-wise. I'd say upgrade the video card... you have a very nice system there...

DX7, I have 6600GT and play that res with DX9 and medium setting, no slow down!

I have a 9800xt. slightly faster than your x700. I play DX9 medium all 1024x768. not a problem. you might want ot play medium wit 1 or 2 low settings though.
