I have roadrunner service and I'm running out of money. I like the instant internet access that I get but if I can pay less for lesser speeds I would do it. I know other cable companies allow you to downgrade internet speeds for a lower monthly fee. Does Time Warner provide the same service. I emailed customer service but the response was vague. They said they were disappointed that I would downgrade my service and that they have referred my inquiry to their sales department.

Ha ha...I'm sure that CSR was really disappointed...

BTW, how much are you paying now and why not just downgrade to DSL?

Time Warner's got promotional offers of $30 all the time...threaten to switch and see if they give you a deal. I threatened to switch to the dish and they knocked $30 off my monthly cable bill :)

So, it sounds like they do, but they want one of their sales people to call you first and try to talk you out off it.

You will have to wait for "the call".

Out side of that, I have no idea since I don't use them.
