Can I Overclock My P2-400?

I am running it on a P2B with 128MB of generic PC100 ram and intel hsf. I understand that the multiplier is locked on these chips so I would have to increase the fsb. Is it worth the effort, especially with stock cooling?

not much. I use to have one and I could only get 448 via the 112mhz bus. You may be able to squeeze out a little more.

p2 350's are amazing overclockers.
get the sl356, mine did 466 @ 2.1v, with stock (junk) cooling.
With an Alpha, I bet 525 is reachable.

I had a PII400 and could it could only do 448 max ... could never get it about that.

It tried to Overclock a PII450 and it would not do s*&t! Loved my 350 and it is still pumping out the mhz in a computer I built for my dad.
