Can I open up my computer subwoofer?

Ok so if you read this
thread you'll see that the output from the subwoofer to the right-rear speaker is messed up on my ACS54, cause the speaker is barely audible it sounds like no sound is coming from it.

So I was gonna take it apart and see if maybe a wire is loose or something in the back where the outputs are, cause it always worked fine before it just happened all of a sudden to not. And so I'm unfastening the first screw and I see "caution do not open, risk of eletrical shock" and also "no user serviceable parts inside" and I thought maybe I should post before opening it up. Is there nothing I can do anyway??

Hmm although there was only 4 screws holding it in I took 'em out but it wouldn't come apart at all. I don't even know why the screws were in there. And now instead of the right-rear output not working, it mysteriously does work now but the left-front one is having that problem. For whatever reason this damn thing just won't let me have my 4 speakers back, it insists on a max of 3. 😉
