can i open a program twice?

well i have a program i want to open twice

example:

you know how you can only open up 1 windows media player, well is there a way to open 2 windows media player?

thats just an example.

I'm pretty sure you can with some computer games, so yes.

Depends. Some programs don't care and allow multiple instances, but others check when you start the program to see if an instance is already running.

ya thats what i am saying tho. I have a program i am running but i cant open up twice but is there a way to open it up more then one time

no, the program is probably preventing itself from running multiple instances

He could try using the runas service and see what happens, might or might not work.

right click on the program and select run as.. select a different user or make a new one and then select it

Yes there are ways of doing this. Ive run 10 instances of instance messenger on my machine at once, but you have to have a workaround/hack for it to work.

Sure you can open a browser umpteen times, to view all the NSFW pics and vids you can handle. Does that solve your problem? 😉
