I have a Epox 8KHA+ I was running a T-Bird 1.4@1.55. I was wondering it I would have any problems just raising my FSB up? I usually O/C it to around 150FSB with a T-Bird 1.4 or XP 1600. But didnt know if the XP2100 would have any problems just upping the FSB. I dont feel like unlocking it if is and didnt check or tie the pins together. It is a AORIA core I beleive if it helps.

Thanks!

XP2100's don't have much room for overclocking... you could probably get 1.8 out of it... 1.9 or even 2.0 if it's a Thoroughbred and you're willing to run high voltage and better than average cooling.

It is a XP2100 Thoroughbred,Thermalright AX-7 (Artic Silver II), Crucial DDR 2100. I can live with 1.8 and anymore would be a bonus. 🙂

I just installed it tonight. I'll let it run for a day then install my new ATI 9700Pro for another day to make sure everything runs stable then I'll start upping the FSB.

Thanks!

Yeah, 1.8 should be easily reached. I've already had this CPU at about 1733, but found stability issues with the RAM... Ghost Recon would quit to the desktop for no apparent reason. AOL (no, I don't use it, family members do, lol) would freeze. Other than that it was fine, I even ran Prime 95 for a couple hours, and no errors... ran 3DMark and PCMark, no errors. Oh well... hopefully be getting new RAM soon, and getting rid of AOL, hopefully that'll allow me to stay at 1733 Mhz.
