can i network an iMac and a PC? if so how . . .

i have a revision C iMac running OS 8.6 (soon to be OS X) and a PC running WinME. i have them on a lan sharing a cable modem, but thats all i can do. how can i share a printer and an mp3 folder that are on the PC with the iMac? thx in advance,
