Can I negotiate a price with rooms to go and city furniture?

I am going to be buying some furniture from these places and want to know if I can negotiate with the sales people or will they just tell me to piss off?

I would try, can't hurt or make the price go up. Just be like if I am going to purchase all this furniture can you work out a deal for me.

how come you didn't just try it at the store or ask them?

when I got a chair, couch, and coffee tables I asked them if I could get any kind of deal on them since I'm buying a set and they let me get $50 off.
