Say, even with Windows XP 32bit? I have a couple of programs I need to use from time to time that will not run on 64bit Windows. I have a Windows 10 32bit laptop I use for those exclusively. It would be much much more convenient if could multiboot at least one of my Windows 10 64bit machines, e.g. this laptop. Can I install Windows XP on this laptop after having Windows 10 64bit already installed? Would I have to install Windows XP 1st (not sure it's even possible, honestly, this is a new LG Gram 15.6" that came with Win10 64bit pre-installed).

Dual boot sucks. A virtual machine is much better way handling it. It used to be the install order was old windows-new windows-gnu/linux. Don't know if that's changed. In any case, you could have driver issues running xp on new gear. It's 20 years old now, and hasn't been in primary support since 2009.

So, I can install a virtual machine on this and run XP and see how it goes? How do I go about that? It's supported by MS? Is it built into Win10?

Window has buit-in Hyper-V and it's free, but only on Pro and above. You can also use VirtualBox, or VMware player to create VM.

Youtube got a lot of tutorials.
