Can I mix these 2 Rams?

I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with an AMD XP2100+ overclocked CPU.

I have 1.5GB (3-512MB chips) of Ram and am having minor issues running all three. I am not sure if this is a windows os issue since these chips used to run happily together for a long while until recently they started blue screening.

The chips are:
512 - Kingston Hyper X PC3000
2-512 Patriot NewEgg special PC3200, more info found here:

Are these chips ok to run together?

Mixing RAM is always a bit of a puzzle - it might work, but it might not work well together.

If the RAM is from different manufacturers, you should always match the voltage, frequency and timings.

If any of the above parameters is different, there is a good probability that it will not be stable.

Hope this helps.

Very Helpful.

I think I have decided to buy brand new RAM sticks in my upgrade so I guess I won't have to worry about mixing.

Thanks for the info!
