can I mix registered, buffered, ECC ram with the opposite?

I'm using PC133, just bought some from crucial for that 6400 server, that I decided to cancel, so I was gonna throw it in my iwill kk266, just wondering if I can mix the stuff, or should I get the same exact kind if I decide to get more RAM.

Thanks,

Tim

Shiz,
The notches in the bottom of registered DIMMs are different from standard DIMMs. Registered will only fit in mobos designed specifically for them, usually for high-end servers. You can mix standard types (ECC, speed, etc.), but all will only work as the lowest common denominator.

I wouldn't consider the iwill kk266 a high end mobo, heh. It seems to take registered dimms according to crucial. I guess i will just stick with 256. Thanks for the info.
