Can I make the Windows cursor appear ingame?

I just had a glitch where the windows mouse cursor appeared inside the game on top of the game's cursor. I actually liked it since the windows cursor is always hardware accelerated unlike some software accelerated game cursors, and there seemed to be less input lag and the cursor moved quicker. But once I restarted the game I couldn't bring it back.

Is there any way I could reliably reproduce this glitch where the Windows cursor appears on top of the ingame cursor?
