Can I make my wireless connect earlier in startup in XP?

I had to build a new system and my prior system always seemed to connect to the wireless network before I logged in. Now, it seems that it is delaying until I have been logged in a decent while. It may be just that this system is so significantly faster than the old system but I was hoping there was a way I could get the wireless driver to fire off as early as possible especially before logging in. My Google mail notifier will get a DNS error before the wireless drivers load and I even have time to fire up other programs before the wireless drivers will start in the startup sequence. Thanks.

I think if you use the built-in WinXP wireless drivers/software, then you shouldn't have that problem. Not 100% sure on it though.
