The machine has XP home installed. There are 2 users. I want to make one of them the default logon (my wife) ALWAYS. I tried tweak UI and it works, it makes the automatic logon the NEXT time the computer restarts.

However, after that "next time", if I forget to use tweak UI again, it will bring me to the logon screen. Is there any way I can make the tweak UI choice permanent? Any trick into the register? autoexec.bat?

Thanks

Alex

I have three computers - and all three have autologon permanently installed. I don't know about "Home" but XP Pro does it. What version of Tweak-ui you using? Mine has a checkbox for [x] Logon Automatically at system startup.

2.67 for XP? Let me check the version later today. I got it 3 weeks ago, and it was supposed to be the latest......

That should work. I am using 2.0 and it works fine. Have never had anything but Autologon, and it is permanent.
