ok, i dont know all of the technical terms here so i will lay out what i am trying to do.
i currently have a wireless router that is connected to a laptop and a desktop via 802.11b. it is used only for sharing internet, not for file sharing or a workgroup or anything.
in the room with the desktop, i have an xbox. i would like to go online with it. i would prefer not to buy a wireless bridge to connect the xbox.
is it possible for me to connect the xbox to the pc with a crossover cable and allow the xbox to share the pcs internet connection? if so what settings do i need on the pc to accomplish that?
the pc is running windows xp by the way.
thanks.
