I am sharing a cable internet connection between two pcs. The client is used sparingly, but when it is downloading files, the sharing software (wingate home) allocates more bandwidth than I would like to the client. As a result, the user of the server machine often whines that his ping time in counterstrike has risen. Is there a way I can limit the internet speed available to the client to 300kbps or 30% of the total bandwidth?
