Can I leave the ATX12V connector unconnected?

I bought a MB for AMD CPU:
MSI KT7 TURBO2 supporting Athlon/Duron;
Surprisingly, I found there is a ATX 12V connector on this MB. Since my PSU don't have this ATX 12V cable,
can I leave this connector unconnected, I think only Intel P4 need this power supply, right?
