Got my new 2005fpw running properly. This is my first LCD monitor so... is it all right to leave LCDs on all the time? When the screen saver kicks in on my CRT, it's still 'on'; there is output occuring. Now I have the dual monitor setup, and when the screen saver kicks in, I can see that the backlight is still on in the LCD. Is this okay? Will it enhance the life of the unit if I shut it right down, or is it worse for the pixels to be shut off and on?
Is there any difference between leaving an S-IPS panel on vs. a TN panel?
Any comments are appreciated. xtknight, are you out there?
