Can I just flash to the newest motherboard BIOS or do I need to do it in steps?

Example:

Can I go from ver. 1 -> 4, or do I need to do 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4?

Will everything in 2 and 3 be included with 4?

the newest bios will have all the fixes that the previous ones had.
therefore just flash with the latest version! 🙂

Absolutely! Less chances of a flash going wrong too!

I flashed my CUSL2 from 1001 to 1009 a while back, skipping 1002 - 1008 and it went fine. I'd hate to try my luck with 8 separate flashes. Yikes!

Yes, go straight to the newest version. 🙂 BIOS flashes don't patch your existing BIOS, they erase it and completely reprogram it.
