I'm looking for a device that is a GPS receiver, but doesn't have an integrated display but instead has an svid out for connection to an LCD screen of some sort. It would be for an automotive install. Does such a device exist?

The only outputs that I've heard of are the standard location outputs, usually via serial port or usb.

My brother just got a bluetooth enabled GPS unit... it's pretty nifty. About the size of a small cell phone, no display... all goes straight to the computer.

Yup, me too

If the OP really needs something that small, the only thing I can think of his a Ipaq or something with vga output and a gps card. But otherwise they're going to need some sort of small computer.

I used a BU-303 (or known simply as Ebay GPS Mouse) to hook to my computer to give me GPS in the car
