Yes, but ensure you have a rag or thin towel between the iron and the sweater so you don't burn it up.

Try it with a dry towel. Ensure your heat setting on the iron is low to begin with. If things are not causing any issues, you can bump the heat up a bit if you like. You could also leave the sweater hanging in the bathroom after taking a shower and some of the wrinkles should come out, too.

i thought to take the "wrinkles" out of a sweater u just threw it in a dryer on high for a few mins?

I have no dryer.
Its 100% lambs wool.

And I need to iron it because there are a good amount of wrinkles in it.

And the ladies do not like wrinkles.

you could probably hang it in a steamy bathroom for a few minutes and fix it that way..

your iron probably has a wool setting though.. should be OK.. just don't give it creases.. that'd look goofy.
