The reason im asking is because ive had problems in the past with my older computer where i would try installing the latest catalyst control center without first going through the CDs older version. And yes, i did install .net framework before installing the CCC.
I dont recall what exactly went wrong. Sometimes i would keep getting the windows found new hardware pop up, while at others i would not be able to even get into the CCC, which is a total failure in installation.
And how in gods name can i know what driver i have installed on my system. I tried listening to ATI by clicking help and then about in the CCC. but it doesnt tell me version 5.12 but gives me all these other numbers.
