Can I install new laptop screen? ? ?

My sister-in-law has purchased a replacement screen for her Dell Inspiron 7500 and has asked me to help her install it. Can someone of intermediate to advanced PC skills install a laptop screen? Thanks

I did it once on an old compaq and it wasnt too hard... id use google to hopefully find a step by step walkthrough online.

Also, you can probably hunt for the service manual on Dell's website. That should tell you how to change it step by step.

I found the following information regarding installing laptop screen LCD INSTALL

The steps in the slide show and video do not look too bad. I found on another site that the Inspiron 7500 has three different 15" screen part numbers. How can I determine which one her 7500 needs? 😕

if she still has the old screen take the model from there and get another of the same model.
