Hi!
Well, I bought Myst years ago when everyone else did - but I never got very far with it.
So, I have a little extra time this summer, and I want to give it another shot.
But, since PCs have come so far since then, I was wondering whether I couldn't copy the whole CD-ROM to the hard drive to speed it up and for convenience.
The .ini file is looking for just a drive letter for the CD-ROM, and the HD does not have any extra partitions.
Plus I think that the program has built-in CD accesssing software, so I am not sure whether it will work if the drive letter is not actually a CD drive.
Anyone out there been down this road before?
BTW, I do know that there are latter versions of Myst, but I don't want to spend any further $$ on this.
Thanks!
