I am using Dell T-7500 workstation with Windows-7 Ultimate.

It has 4 drive bays & currently I am running 1 x 500 GB SSD + 1 x 2 TB SSD + 1 x 6 TB HDD6 TB HDD,

I want to replace 6 TB HDD with a new 10 TB HDD.

The Dell spec sheet says maximum Storage capacity is 10 TB.
Does that mean, I will not be able to run that 10 TB HDD with other two SSDs I mentioned ?

Here is a link to T-7500 Spec sheet :

https://www.dell.com/learn/lt/en/ltc..._specsheet.pdf

Please advice.

Thank You

Those are usually the limits of whatever is available at the time of manufacture. If it takes a 10 it will take a 22 as well. Capacity isn't the issue if the OS will format it and make available all of the space. Even then there are ways to circumvent W's limitations using a Linux USB to get the job done.

The bigger issue would be why you're running an ancient W7 OS still....

Could you kindly give me more details or direct me to a place that explains how to do it ?

The reason I am using Win-7 is that I have setup my rig to run 12, 24 inch monitors & a setup that does what I need to do.

I also have newer Dell 5820 Workstation with Win-11 Pro but I am having issues with it's tiny Font size and I have spent a lot of time trying to make it as big as I need with no success. The reason being 12 Monitors need to be at least 6 feet away for me to keep an eye on 12 Monitors and hence larger fonts.

Just download the Linux version and burn to USB or use ventoy to create the USB and drop the ISO file onto the folder.

Larger fonts should be in the display options. I scale mine up as well I Linux because I run 4K resolution.

Could I go to someone OR the seller who has Win-11 on their system & get it formatted by them ?

Would Win-7 then still create detection problem ?

Make sure the HDD is initialized GPT and you should be good I think.

And, if you haven't done a system backup recently, take the opportunity to run one before you start messing around inside it.
