can i hook up my xbox to my dual-lan for net access?

Here's my situation. I've got my computer and my xbox in my room. One cat 5 cable and a wireless modem. Right now my pc is hardwire to router and the xbox is wireless. The wireless is sucking it up. My motherboard has 2 lan ports. Can I run a cat 5 cable from my spare lan port to my xbox so I can play online?

Yes, I believe so. If you go to your network devices list and open the properties for the LAN port that's connected to the router, you should be able to enable connection sharing somewhere there. I did this with my wireless on my laptop, so I could plug my 360 into my laptop and use its wireless connection when I had to.
