Can I hook my laptop up to this TV?

I need a TV for my bedroom. We will be watching movies in there mainly, with a small amount of analog cable TV..

I've got my eye on the Samsung LN-S2738D

My question is this:
Can I actually hook up my laptop to this LCD TV with the 15 pin VGA connector and be able to run native 1366x768 resolution?

This would be AWESOME if it were possible, I could play wow, etc on it!

Just like everyone else who's been asking the "does my machine support this resolution" question, do this:

Display properties - Advanced - Monitor. Uncheck "Hide modes this monitor cannot display".
Change over to the "Display" tab. Browse "List All Modes" and see what's there.

If your video card controls have a "force HDTV resolutions" option, check it and look again.

I guess I'm sorry for not clarifying my question better...

I know my computer can support 1366x768.

Can the _TV_ support that resolution on the 15 pin VGA input?

Ah. You'll need someone who owns this TV already. Maybe you should put it like that in your topic subject, in order to attract these people?
