can i hook computer speakers up to my TV?

i'm thinking about trying to hook a set of 2.1's from fry's for 30 bucks up to my tv and get sub sounds and such from movies and xbox. how do i do this?
 
does your tv have either an audio output made up of rca jacks at the back or a headphone jack?

Edit: also do you have a link to the speakers?
 
You can get RCA to 1/8 converter if there aer only RCA out put. Otherwise you can just connect the head phone jack to the input of the speakers, since those 30 dollar speakers probably only take 1/8 as input.
