Can I have your opinion on my build?

Do the games never work? Or is this just an occasional thing?

If you haven't already, look to see how hot things are getting.

Are you overclocking anything?

It always happens to these games and crysis 3, fallout 3 and skyrim

My other games like thief, bioshock infinite and wolfenstein all work.

I use "speedfan" and it constantly shows that my CPU is 128C but i looked it up and many people have this issue of false heat.

I have not overclocked.

Download CPUID Hardware Monitor and tell us what the CPU core temps are. These numbers are coming straight from the CPU, so they should be correct.

What do you mean by freezing issues? Does the game load and then freeze, or just take a long time on the loading screen? After it freezes does the game eventually play well or do you have to shut down the game or totally reboot? If it is a hardware issue it seems strange that it would affect only certain games, especially fallout 3, which is less demanding than the games that you say play without issue.

Edit: How long have you had this computer? If you have had it for a while, did it always have these issues or did they just start up at some point? Does it ever freeze or lock up when not gaming?

My pc freezes not the game itself i.e freezes on desktop and if i have music on the music stops and makes a buzzing sound.

I have had this pc for about 6-7 months.

The only instances where my pc freezes is when I start any off these games.

Thank you for the description. If you bought the machine assembled, I would think that company would owe you something, considering you have only had it six months or so.

Not trying to chicken out on helping you here, it's just that since this was custom built, the people that built it would know best how to fix it. You have some nice parts in that machine, and they should be able to play most games just fine.

I called the company and they said based on the problem that the operating system is at fault.

That answer is extremely vague or dead wrong. Since you got that computer, have you updated any drivers?

One good way to check CPU tempuature is to run disk cleanup with your new hardware monitor program runnung. For some reason, that app always takes the CPU to 100%.

(They are) Passing the buck, I see.

The OS plays those games fine, so it's down to drivers or hardware faults. Regardless, they sold you the computer. If it's under any sort of warranty, they should fix it for you.
