Can I have two versions of Flash?

I have one program that will only work with Flash 8 but most other's want Flash 9. Is there a way to have both, Flash 8 & 9 installed and working at the same time???????

maybe you can have a Flash 8 plug-in in Explorer & Flash 9 in Firefox,
for example.

some programs appear to be inter-linked. e.g. upgrade Mozilla
Firefox to Flash 9, and it will also upgrade Mozilla Seamonkey (it's
another browser based on Netscape 4.79, since adopted by Mozilla.)
