Can I have my own title? => RESIDENT GAMBLER

I once had a title called "most improved"... shortly afterwards I screwed up yet again.

My advice is to keep what you've got and be happy with it. AnandTech doesn't give out awards due to people pissing away their money on what they feel is a financially harmless game and then bragging about it.

well, technically it was only over the course of a year...

I still remember how people though I created the user account hubbs and was posting under paulson and hubbs... (basically because our isp had us on an internal network and then everybody had the same external ip address)

Hi Bud

I still don't think there's a significant difference between a Put on the 6/8 at 100x odds (.09% house edge) vs a Come with 100x odds (.02% house edge). To me it's like saying which color Porche do you want...silver or black?

Nevertheless, I don't do that with 3-point Betty unless several #'s were hit, then a 7 after the point being hit comes out and all my Come bet odds are returned to me. I then PUT back the 6 and/or 8, whichever was up.

Anyway, had a large enough bankroll, maxxed out 100x odds ($1 minimum)...Made $2k 🙂

Isn't knowing when to walk away a sign of being a good gambler?

And I think gambling is a form of entertainment, not a money making tool.

Even at a 100.7% return in Full Pay version of Dueces Wild video poker, you're only making $7 for $1000 risked. And that's on average meaning theorectically you're are down $993 when that $1000 royal flush hits ($0.25 machines) to get your $7 profit. If you are on a bad streak and don't get that Royal, you are down even more.
 
the info you provided sounds straight off the travel channel.

Im a table game player and I understand that the house has the advantage every time I palce a bet. Telling people that you can win playing a certain way is dangerous. Playing smart increases your chances of being successful but there are no gaurantees. Its gambling plain and simple.

From that thread there are a few others I would recommend foer that title before you. sorry
 
You look like nothing more than a compulsive gambler, trying to justify his existance. I've seen em come and go. You might be on a roll fella, but the other shoe WILL drop. You're young, and of course, invincible. Get out or they WILL get you!
