Can I get some opinions on mp3 players?

I don't like iTunes or ZuneTunes. Primary reasons being, the stores don't carry enough of the new music I listen to and the fact that I must slave my library to my mp3 player. I just want to plug in my mp3 player, load playlists and manage ratings, preferrably through WMP11.

I have around $100 to spend, will definitely spend less. 8gig+ will do, am/fm is nice, and is it possible to get one that allows me to delete songs from the actually device without having to connect to the computer?

Any opinion would be greatly appreciated, its so tedious sifting through the google results for a quality answer. Lmk if refining my parameters is necessary thx in advance.

i know its sold out, but obviously it can still be bought from other places.


It uses WMP or you can just browse to it and manually put whatever you want on there.

It was the FM Radio. Not sure about being able to delete multiple files at a time. I know on my 2gb sansa I can delete a currently playing song, but i havent really ever looked into it.
