Can I get some help with these two motherboards?

I read the article on the front page then went to newegg to check them out. I saw 2 of the ASUS 650i boards.

This one, the one reviewed on front page.

And this one, which is about $60 less and seems to be nearly the same.

Will they perform the same? Other differences I can't see?

The first one supports true SLI (2 x16 slots) 8 channel audio, dual LAN, 6 SATA ports but only 1 IDE. Biggest is the true SLI mode though.

But the chipsets are the same correct? Just different (fewer) features?

I personally don't like SLI and would suggest a 965P based board like the Asus P5B series or the Gigabyte DS3. You have to remember that sadly 2x gfx does not equal 2x performance
