I'm looking to know if it'd be best to order the motherboard and VGA card now or wait till after thanksgiving

Both have 10% off codes at the moment.

And the CPU i was gonna get at microcenter and wait till after thanksgiving just in hope it'll go below $230 there or somewhere else.

So you guys think I should order these parts now or wait it out? I'm stuck on deciding cause the deals will end soon:\

Probably better off in General Hardware but that motherboard is way overpriced even with the coupon simply because of the premium on "super duper OC" boards. I'd just go with more of a midrange board becuase chances are you have no need for it.

The card is a decent price after coupon at $190ish but it's still a Hawk so I don't think it's really worth the premium when you can get essentially the same card from other vendors/lines cheaper even before a coupon.

CPU is a good choice but assuming you're gaming you get negligibly better performance out of an i7 vs an i5 and the i7 will cost you more for both the RAM and Mobo and CPU itself.

Also don't forget a PSU/HDD/Optical drive/OS ;)

i dont need all that other stuff. I have those parts already.

I kno the board is slightly over priced but i till be overclocking, i like format of it and It'll allow me to space out my GPU's. Im just wondering if its best to wait or buy those 2 things now

Mobo is way overpriced. The 950 just plain bad at $295 and thoroughly meh at $230. And no, we don't have a crystal ball.

Newegg raised video card prices by +10% to go with the -10% coupon, it's a marketing trick.

Don't buy parts just to hold them for a month, there may be more price drops by then on what you're holding. For example with video cards the Radeon 69xx cards will probably be out at the end of November or in early December, and may push down prices of the GTX 470 / 480 / 580 and Radeon 5870.
