can i get online with a Dreamcast w/o using the Sega ISP?

i thought i read somewhere that i can get online with any old ISP...is that true??

It asks you for your primary and secondary DNS addresses, your username/password, and dialup #. It worked fine for me.

Yeah, it works.. you just need a site that would convert your password and user name into a code that the DC would understand I believe... I don't remember the link (haven't messed w/ DC news in a long time) but look around, it's out there... sorry I couldn't be of more service!
