Can I get my dvds balanced and rotated please? I'll pass on the alignment.

So I have this cheap apex dvd player and once in a while it starts rattling during playback. It sounds like its out of balance or something, but it doesn't affect playback. The sound drives me nuts though. I haven't gotten around to opening it up to poke around but any guesses as to whats up? Think just a loose screw or something could do it, or do you think the actual drive is damaged in some way?

How old is it? Is it still under warranty? Cuz if you open it and try to fix it yourself that would probably void it.

Its got a couple years on it. Its a $50 dvd player, I'm not concerned with the warranty, it wouldn't be worth shipping charges to send it in 😀

Any yes I understand its an apex, but I didn't see it being all that important to spend alot of money on a high end player that connects to an old 27" tv that doesn't even have svideo let alone component in. It still shouldn't sound like a wheel coming off your car at 60mph.
