Can I get DSL or cant I?

ok heres the deal. I saw in hot deals forum about Direct Tv DSL. I went to there site and checked if I could get Dsl. They said I could get Adsl. Then I thought to myself, I went to Covad.com and dslreports.com a month ago ( i went back to check again) and they said i could not get ADsl only Idsl ( ack). I emailed Direct Tv but no reply. What do u think? Who is right?
 
Well, did you actually call Direct TV about their DSL running to your house? Because Ive gone to more than a few DSL websites that say I "can" get it, when in reality its not possible in the area that I was checking for. You'd be better off actually calling their offices near you and finding out for sure. But generally you can figure it out much easier if you can just see if you live within, what is it, like 10,000 meters of the switching office. Sorry if thats not 100% correct, but its been a really long day and my brains a little foggy.
