I have an office in another neighborhood that just houses material stuff. Pretty much all thats there are security cams via Time Warner Cable business service.

I need 1 phone. The only thing i need the phone to do is forward calls to another office. Verizon is charging me up the butt a month for a line i never use. I'm basically paying 100 bucks for call forwarding. Is there anything else I can set up to get call forwarding for cheap ? The only thing I really need is to keep my number.

Umm you need the line to have the phone number. Without the phone number you can't forward much.
Why not just get a 2nd line/number at the location you are forwarding to in the first place.

You have Time Warner already, just get their phone service and port the number.

Save yourself a ton of money.

wow...whats up today? first we get the guy asking how to transfer money without transfering money and now we have this guy asking how to forward a phone line without a phone line...

full moon tonight?

Grandcentral run by google will provide you with a phone number that you can forward to any phone you want.

I decided on vonage. They beat time warner cable on pricing , and I can connect their dongle into the security server running our security cams. I need to keep a physical phone in that location for inspection purposes. 🙂 Thanks guys.
