I might need one for a used car and I can't get full coverage so can I get a loan so it doesn't require full coverage?

Very unlikely, unless you get a loan from Big Tony who'll smash your skull if you wreck the car & can't pay for it.

Seriously, you'd be a fool to get a loan without comprehensive insurance.

If anything happens, & you don't have the savings to cover the remaining balance of your debt you're SOL.

I don't think so

to avoid that, I took out a short-term "cash" loan at slightly higher interest rates from my credit union

Damn.

If I take out a "cash" loan do they ask you or anything what you're using the loan for hehe?

So there's no way I can get like $500-$1000 right now without getting full coverage? My parents can't afford full coverage (only got it on my moms car) so no matter what I can't get it.

And unless the damn dealer goes way down on a tight 92 Accord I'm gonna have to get some cheap car... :|
