i recently overclocked my p2-400 to 448Mhz (4x112Mhz) and my crappy matrox video cards heatsink is really getting hot (if i touch it for more than 2 seconds with my finger it will burn the skin). the heatsink on it doesn't appear to have anyway of attaching a fan. the heatsink is held onto the card via two white plastic screw/rivit/pin thingies (i dunno what there called, but im sure you know what i mean), is there anyway of removing this without damaging the card in order to put a new one on?

i am going to be buying a geforce2 soon anyway...do you think it is even worth trying to cool the matrox down at all in the meantime? because it hasn't crashed under heavy game usage yet.

thanks for any advice/tips.

Agreed, the lasagna works very well on the G200, I used one myself in a prior system and noticed a big difference. Good Luck.

I use an old 486 CPU fan. It works wonderfully in term of cooling, but it blocks the first PCI slot.

I got mine from a used computer store for free. The saleman said "Just take it" when I asked "how much".
