what's going on in the middle east?

but many questions still remain. how did this all start? why do the palestinians hate the israelis? why has israel not really done anything about it so far?

how in the world did jerusalem become a religious shrine for both the jews and muslims/arabs?

and where exactly do iraq and bin laden and co. fit in here? how is bin laden, if at all, involved (except in the shared hatred towards the US)? is iraq against palestine (the article said they are against arabs)?

anybody here know much about this whole situation?

hard to find unbiased articles...i think last year i spent a week different sites about the conflict, and 99% of the sites were biased towards either israel or palestine....the one site that attempted to be neutral---well, i lost that link on my bookmarks...
best thing is to read both sides of the story and research their claims....

That was the one. We started studying the conflict for a History project, and I found that doing background research, couldn't remember how to find it again though.
