Can I force my comp to slow down to dial-up speeds?

I'm writing a web app, and I wanna see how the app works while it's loading it's data (about 200kb). The data loads almost instantaneously with broadband, but I wanna see how it acts with a SLOW dial-up connection. Any suggestions on how I can cap my download speed?

Your router (if you have one) may allow this. You can also try a program called NetLimiter.

Test it on dial-up.

Get a limited free account.

Make sure that you look at it at 28K speeds as well as 56K.
