-------------Can I find a SANE / (somewhat) Normal Roommate?

Okay. Living on my own in Boston. 28 y.o. guy, you could even call me a yuppie...ughhh.

Would like to have a roommate to help share expenses for a few months. I'll have a good friend move in, in about 4 months.

But I've never had roommates live here with me, or even tried to look for one. All I want is a non-drinker/smoker, no pets, someone who is quite and polite.

Any suggestions/comments on where to look for a roommate? I've thought about craigslist.

Anyone know a website that deals with 'how to' find a roommate; the steps involved, what to do and look out for.

a non drinker in boston is gonna be hard to find, we all get wasted over here

just post an add on craigs list, or roomate.com i found my place on craigs list

Everyone who is a non-drinker/smoker, without pets, quiet and polite, probably has their shlt together to the point where they don't need a roommate to meet expenses!

I don't per se. But financialy, its a necessity at this point. I'm thinking I can reduce the undesiarble variable here and see if I can find a female roomate.

ALSO, does anyone know of stories/guides, etc that give a 'how to' guide on finding the right roommate?
