Half the time I've been to goodwill or salvation army, they refused the donations. Screw'em. I'd just take it up there at night and drop it off.

Why did they refuse them?

They're very picky...they only want sh!t that they know they can sell

Hm, all I have is clothes, and they say on their site that whatever clothes they can't sell outright, they can sell as scrap material.

Pulled up, shined my headlights on a sign to read that deliveries shouldn't be made outside of specified hours, supposedly due to risk of vandalism, theft, etc. So I opened the passenger door, tossed the trash bag of clothes out, and was on my merry way. :p An exciting night for sure.

I thought everyone kept a copy of the mission impossible theme around for situations like this. We used to have one at a former employer for practical joke days. I think the moby version was the best.

I used to keep "ice ice baby" in the car. A few times I'd put on my mcd hat, like way down and covering my face, put on a hoodie covering my face even more, and drive around listening to it blasting and leaning back in my seat as far as humanly possible.

:D

Techinally it's considered dumping, which is illegal. I just throw most of my stuff away these days. No sense in driving there just to have them refuse half my stuff. They'll gladly take my electronic but say no to my furniture, wtf is up with that. It should be all or nothing.

At the shop I work we get our rags to clean stuff in 100lb bales from a company that gets them from goodwill and places like that. Its funny because you get alot of old shirts from the 80's.For example we have an old Monsters of rock 82-83 tour t-shirt,a Journey and a Judas Priest t's also lol,we had to save those.
Just dont use the funny smelling rags :(
