Can I download Vista backup ISO?

I ordered a Vista 64-bit laptop recently, and ordered it w/ 2GB ram. I feel too lazy to upgrade right now, and am thinking about trying to get a 32-bit Vista install.

My OEM key would work, right? It's Vista home premium.

If so, where can I find a place to download Vista backup ISOs?

Your OEM key will work.

If you know someone who has Vista 64bit DVD you can use his/her DVD. If you decide to download it via torrents (piratebay, demonoid) make sure its not been changed (check MD5).

Why not use the 64-bit version, even with 2GB RAM?

x64 gives you double the registers for better performance in many apps, even if you aren't using that much memory. There are other advantages as well, such as x64 code doesn't need to do SSE capability checks because SSE2 support is part of the x64 spec.

I won't have any performance issues w/ only 2GB of RAM? I want to have Firefox (5-10 tabs) open, Photoshop, and possibly a third program. I'm able to do this on my current P4 1.6Ghz w/ 512MB ram.

2GB is OK.
