CAN I DOWNLOAD TORRENTS OVER 2 DIFFERENT OS'S?

I was wondering if it is possible for me to download torrents over Vista and Linux.

By this i mean that i usually download large files that can take a few days to download. I use Linux and Vista equally but when im downloading something on Linux it cannot download when im on Vista and vice-versa.

So basically im asking if there is a way for Utorrent(vista) or Ktorrent(linux) to scan for new files or updated files and then start the download where the other left off

Maybe if the torrent application was standalone (required no installation), was on a drive that both systems could read and write to (like FAT32), and you used one that was for Windows and would run via WINE on Linux.

i assume you already have your windows partition mounted under linux.

try installing a torrent application that has a windows version and a linux version. make both of them read and write from the same directory on the same partition. then let us know if it works.

This is the only way that seams feasible to me.

im gonna give it a try, does anyone know a lightweight torrent app that can run on both Vista and Linux.

Also linux can see all windows drives(NTFS) but windows cannot recognize Linux partitions

im thinkin about just using wine on linux to run utorrent but does anyone know how hard this is and how great it works?
