Can I do this?

Alright...I have the WRT54G WORKING in client mode and am able to use it as a bridge for my Xbox to play Xbox Live!.

In other words:

Xbox->WRT54G->Wireless Connection to BEFSW11 (or something like that...Linksys Wireless B Router)->Cable Modem->Internet

This works, seems to work OK...however, is it possible to FTP into the Xbox (it is modded) with this setup? Looking to do this:

Laptop Wireless Connection->BEFSW11 Router->WRT54G->Xbox (using my Laptop w/ an FTP program)

The Wireless functionality goes away on the WRT54G when it is in Client Mode using the Alchemy software. So I can't just connect to the WRT54G and FTP that way...I have to go through the BEFSW11 then to the WT54G then to the Xbox.

If you disabled DHCP on the WRT54G then it seems logical to me that both devices would receive their own IP address. Check the active DHCP entries on your BEFSW11 and see if there are two new entries.

So I should disable DHCP on the WRT54G? And then what, assign a static IP @ the xbox?
