Can I do this with a single series loop?

I'm looking to upgrade to an i7 920. I just recently received an ATI 5850, and it overclocks nicely; however the noise of the fan is killing me.

I'd like to OC that i7 to 4.2GHz if possible, and also have the 5850 (OC'd as well) on the same loop using a full cover waterblock. Are my temps gonna be sky high with a single loop using a 3x120 Radiator? I was thinking this for the setup:

Pump > GPU > CPU > Rad > Res > Pump

CPU Block - Swiftech Apogee XTSwiftech Apogee XT
GPU Block - EK-FC5850 Full Cover GPU Block
Pump - Swiftech MCP355 DDC 3.2 Pump
Top - EK-DDC X-Top V2
Radiator - XSPC RX 3x120 OR Possibly 2 Swiftech MCR320-QP Stackable if my case can fit it (need to do some measuring)
Fans - Either Scythe S-Flex E's or Yate Loon. RPMs will be around 1200RPM. Don't want to go above 22-24dba if I can help it. I just thing of just having 3 push, but maybe 6 in push/pull if I can fit it. If I go with 6, there is no way I can do dual swiftech Rads, as it will be too thick to fit on upper part of my ATCS 840 Case.
Res - I have no idea what to do for my res. Its the one area I really haven't read up enough on. Any help here would be great. I have the ATCS 840 case, so I have plenty of 5.25 drive bays open as well as room elsewhere.
Tube - 7/16" Tygon

Anyways, let me know what you guys think. If I have to go dual loop, I've been seeing a lot of good things about the Typhoon III, but haven't got my head around how it works yet. I'm really new to this WC stuff, and all the reading lately has left my head spinning. I'd like to do a single loop if at all possible.

Nobody? Basically I'm just wondering if a i7 920 OC'd to 4.2Ghz and a Radeon 5850 OC'd will be too much heat for a single loop with a single 3x120 Rad using Fans spinning at around 1000-1200rpm. Thanks.

Isn't that the dual thickness unit? That's already like running two regular 3x120mm rads. I'm pretty certain it can cool an overclocked Core i7 20 with an overclocked Radeon 5850. The real question is how low of temperatures are you expecting?

lol i go away for the weekend, and we get blown up with lc questions.

that rad will be fine for 1 gpu and 1 cpu.
If you want more performance you can always turn up your fans higher.

Id say when you game, or have both loaded, turn them to 1600RPM's.

when only the cpu is loaded u will be fine on 1000-1200 rpm's.

Glad you are okay. You had me worried along with the rest of the free world.

You know you really should let everyone know here at the forum when you decide to take a vacation and where you are going and what you will be doing and how long you will be gone. I almost called Homeland Security.

I am kidding Red Irish (private joke).
